Blood and Cotton Candy in Seattle's Streets The city of Seattle was shocked on Sunday when a mass shooting broke out at the annual Bite of Seattle food festival.
The event, which draws families and foodies to the city's downtown area, became a scene of unspeakable horror as gunfire rang out near the iconic Space Needle.
At least two people were killed in the attack: Ashley Whitehead, 56, who was waiting in line for cotton candy with her family; and Carlos Israel Sanchez Villalba, 44.
