Fire in the Fast Lane The incident on Lantau Island's North Highway has left many questions unanswered about the truck driver's decision to flee after a fiery crash.
A 16 tonne truck carrying electronic parts was traveling towards the airport during an amber rainstorm warning when it skidded on the wet road and crashed into barriers.
The impact was severe, injuring a taxi driver and passenger who were traveling behind. The vehicle quickly caught fire, with flames and thick smoke billowing into the sky. However, no one was trapped inside.
